Sync-o Configuration

Tailor Sync-o to your workflow with notification preferences and AI provider settings.

All settings available at Jira Admin → Apps → Sync-o → Configure

1. Notifications

Choose where Sync-o allows noise. You can toggle notifications for Confluence pages and Jira tickets independently.

Confluence Notifications

  • Page Comments: Sync-o posts a summary panel on the updated Confluence page detailing exactly what changed.

Jira Notifications

  • Update Published: Comment on the Jira ticket confirming the update with a link to the updated Confluence page.
  • Update Skipped: Comment on the Jira ticket when the AI determined the ticket content wasn't relevant to the linked page.

User Mentions

Ensure the right people see the update by enabling mentions:

  • Tag Reporter: @mention the ticket reporter.
  • Tag Assignee: @mention the ticket assignee.
  • Tag Confluence page creator: @mention the author of each updated Confluence page.

To configure:

  1. Go to the Notifications tab.
  2. Toggle the switches according to your preference.
  3. Click Save Settings.

2. AI Provider (BYOM)
